2005 WAKE COUNTY TAXPAYERS ASSOCIATION ENDORSEMENTS:

The Wake County Taxpayers Association (WCTA) is a non-partisan, all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to monitor the use of taxes, initiate action to reduce excessive taxation, eliminate wasteful government spending, and encourage the wise and common sense use of taxes at all levels of government. The November 8 election presents an unusual scenario in that there are fewer candidates for office than normal and there are more candidates running unopposed.

The Wake County Taxpayers Association has a fifteen year record of advocating fiscally sound government. We have accessed the postions of the candidates on issues important to the Taxpayers of Wake County. The candidates listed below are those most closely supporting issues we deem important to the taxpayers of Wake County.
